Beste is a grounded, hardworking and calm psychologist who is genuinely passionate about making a change in people’s lives through her work. Her main value in therapy sessions is to provide a safe, non-judgmental and compassionate space where clients will not fear showing their true selves. She’s a passionate individual in this field and she wants to apply her practical as well as theoretical knowledge to her interventions. Beste received her CBT training in a variety of concerns and issues from a well-recognized psychotherapist. Further, She’s currently undergoing weekly supervision. Her CBT training covered anxiety disorders, depression, eating disorders, personality disorders, PTSD and OCD. Over the years she has worked in various settings such as private clinics, and non-profit organizations (that are concerned with Syrian refugees and disabled children). Through her experience in different settings, Beste always received a positive impact from her supervisors about her kindness, patience and positive energy in the environment.

These feedbacks were additional evidence that she truly puts passion, effort and close attention into this job and that she’s on the way to becoming a successful psychologist. Beste believes she will always be supportive, open to new experiences and eager to learn from other people in this field. At the moment, She’s carrying out her private sessions with individuals in the age range of 19-50, as well working at a private company where we work with individuals who suffer from emotional eating and binge eating disorder. In all of her practices, she uses the tool of CBT but never limits herself to one approach. Beste uses her authenticity and lets the sessions flow in their own energy Further, she uses therapeutic techniques from dialectical behavioural therapy and is also greatly benefited from mindfulness skills. From time to time, Beste work as a content writer in a meditation app where the main aim is to contribute to raising awareness of psychological issues as well the importance of mindfulness in one’s everyday life. It is an app that I feel I find a voice to my vision and purpose in this field. To take care of herself, she has her own destressing tool kit; which includes yoga, hiking in nature, spending time with loved ones, learning a new language and playing the piano. She loves trying new things and seeing how they make her feel.

I’m excited to bring a new perspective to the client where they can be more mindful of their choices, thoughts, emotions and behaviours. One of my main goals is to create space for clients where they can show their authentic selves and help them gain psychological flexibility and resilience. I also highly value them making peace with their thoughts and emotions rather than resisting and seeing them as things that should be gotten rid of, especially the ones that are labelled bad or negative.
