I am passionate about the way Art can be used as a tool for transformation in one’s health and overall well-being. I believe in a client-facing and an outcome based approach to any session. However, we are all not as comfortable with in-person thus I offer online sessions and classes. I enjoy sharing my knowledge and skills with people, both as a teacher and as a facilitator. The Arts are magical and have a way of allowing us to be open up and feel more comfortable with ourselves and others. My journey with the Arts started with a BTech Fine Art degree (2008) and not knowing what to do with this degree, I found expressive arts therapy. This lead to a BA Social Science (majors in psychology and child and youth development, 2015) and a MA expressive arts therapy with a minor in psychology (2018). I married my two passions; art and my need to help others. I love being able to help people realise their own potential and abilities and guide them through different tools to help themselves in the future.

I am excited to bring the arts to the Fitcy wellness center. The arts have a way of bringing to the surface what is troubling in the current moment and delves deeper into the cause of what is bothering you. Art therapy gives you something tangible to see and feel what you have overcome in the session and how to move forward in your day-to-day life.
