Humanitarian worker motivated by the impact of the work that I do. I studied psychology because of my own experience struggling with mental heath issues in my youth. I wanted to be part of this profession to help break the stigma surrounding mental health services and to make such services more accessible. I started my journey working with children, but currently work with adults with various presentations such as Anxiety and Depression.
Educational Background & Certifications:
– Masters in Clinical Child Psychology from Anglia Ruskin University (2017)
– Bachelors in Psychology from Lebanese American University (2016)
What I’m excited to bring to Fitcy Health members:
My aim is to provide clients with a safe space to reflect on their emotions and thoughts. I strive to empower my clients to make their own decisions in line with their goals, and to set healthy boundaries in their relationships. In the course of therapy, it is important to be attuned, affirming, and supportive, and also working with the client to teach them skills to become their own therapist.
