Beste is a grounded, hardworking and calm psychologist who is genuinely passionate about making a change in people’s life through her work. Her main values in therapy sessions is to provide a safe, non-judgmental and compassionate space where clients will not fear about showing their true selves. She is a passionate individual in this field and she wants to apply her practical as well as her theoretical knowledge to her interventions. She received her CBT training in a variety of concerns and issues from a well-recognized psychotherapist. Further, she is currently undergoing weekly supervisions. Her CBT training covered anxiety disorders, depression, eating disorders, personality disorders, PTSD and OCD. Over the years she has worked in various settings such as private clinics, non-profit organizations (that are concerned with Syrian refugees and disabled children). Through her experience in different settings, she always received positive impact from her supervisors about her kindness, patience and positive energy in the environment. These feedbacks were an additional evidence that she truly put passion, effort and close attention to this job and that she is in the way of becoming a successful psychologist. She believes she will always be a supportive, open to new experiences and eager to learn from other people in this field. At the moment, she is carrying out her private sessions with individuals with the age range of 19-50, as well working at a private company where she works with individuals who suffer from emotional eating and binge eating disorder. In all of her practices she uses the tool of CBT but never limiting herself to one approach. She uses her authenticity and let the sessions flow in their own energy. Further, she uses therapeutic techniques from dialectical behavioural therapy and is also greatly benefited from mindfulness skills. From time to time, she works as a content writer in a meditation app where the main aim is to contribute to raising awareness in psychological issues as well the importance of mindfulness in one’s everyday life. It is an app that she feel she finds a voice to her vision and purpose in this field. To take care of herself, she has her own destressing tool kit; which includes yoga, hiking in the nature, spending time with loved ones, learning a new language and playing piano. She loves to try new things and see how they make her feel!

One of my main goal is to create space for clients where they can show their authentic selves and help them gain psychological flexibility and resilience. I also highly value them to make peace with their thoughts and emotions rather than resisting and see them as things that should be get rid, especially the ones that are labelled bad or negative. I can’t wait to support and guide clients on their path to increased well-being and overall life-satisfaction.
