Katerina is an experienced clinical psychologist with a demonstrated history of working in national NGO's regarding the implementation of United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) projects for the support and integration of the refugee population in Greece from 2016 and till the end of March 2022. Furthermore, she is a person who is invested in raising awareness of equality issues, she was responsible for the support and management of Gender Based Violence cases. She has been practising as a psychotherapist in her private office since 2017 and she has also been offering her services for the provision of psychological support for the staff of the Danish Refugee Council NGO in Greece since April 2021. She shows a great respect for human nature and psyche, as she believes that each person has their own history that helped them become the persons they are today. She loves travelling and exploring new cultures. This is something that helps her understand humanity in various different contexts and at the same time witness how societies can influence the personality of individuals. She is also passionate about the sea and swimming which is an activity she exercises on a weekly basis.
