He is a nurse by profession, he has a master's degree in psychiatric nursing and started his career working at a government hospital in the Philippines as a bedside nurse. He began his career in the mental health sector at a Foundation that is a non-profit In-patient facility in 2014 as a volunteer recovery facilitator/nurse, a facility that caters for people with drug and alcohol problems. He then transferred and volunteered to another foundation, named I Will Serve Foundation Inc. which caters to families of individuals that has problem drugs and alcohol. There he worked as an outreach worker, going to different communities promoting substance use disorder services. His recent role was as a Program Officer and Clinical Supervisor for an Outpatient facility for people with SUD in the Province of Agusan del Sur, Philippines. Today, He is now in private practice, still advocating for mental health and Addiction treatment and prevention. Over the years, Kenneth was able to contribute to a training manual for Peer Support workers. He is also recognized by the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime as a Global Trainer for Drug Demand Reduction.
